Connect an app to your copilot

Connect an app you already use so your copilot can act inside it, see exactly what that connection allows, and take it away again whenever you want.

What a connection actually is

Cyber Corp does not sign you in to the other app for you. You go to that app, create a key or a token there, and paste it here. From then on your copilot can use it, and so can any automation you build.

One value goes in. It comes back out for your own tasks, and for nothing else. In the other app You create the key You paste it Encrypted at once In your own Cyber Drive Anybody else Cannot read the secret A task you asked for Unlocked for that task Back onto this page Never shown to you again

Connection secrets belong to your account and are not displayed to other users. A published workflow app can nevertheless run supported actions on the owner’s account for its visitors; review what you publish and the permissions of its connected apps.

Where they are kept
Encrypted in your own Cyber Drive, from the moment you select Connect.
Who can read them
Only the part of Cyber Corp that runs your tasks, signed in as you.
Shown again
Never. The page can say a field is filled, not what is in it.
Held in memory
Up to 60 seconds after a task has read them.
When you disconnect
Deleted straight away.
When you delete your account
They go with it.

Where connections live

Open Settings, then Connections at /settings/connections. The page lists eighteen apps in Music, Productivity, Messaging, Social and E-commerce. Use the search or the Connected filter to find an app.

In the real page the status sits under the app name, and the button that opens the row is on the right.

Each row shows the app name and Connected or Not connected. Connected means every required field is stored. Select Connect or Manage on the right to open its form. The row does not show a last-success date or reveal your credentials.

Connected means all required fields are stored, not that the credential is still valid. Saving does not test the app. Free allows ten stored app connections; paid plans have no connection cap. The overview shows the limit reported for your account.

Connect an app

The job has two halves: fetch the details in the other app, then paste them here. The open row tells you where to fetch them, so start here rather than guessing.

  1. Open the row

Find the app and select Connect. The row expands underneath and shows everything the app needs.

  2. Go and get the details

The small grey line at the top of the open row names exactly where they live. When it starts with a web address it opens in a new tab. When it names a menu or a bot instead, follow it inside that app yourself.

  3. Fill in every box

One box per value. The secret ones are shown as dots as you type, and nothing is remembered until you save.

  4. Select Connect

The row closes and the status under the app name turns to Connected. Your values are encrypted before they are stored, and the page will not show them to you again.

  5. Try a small task

Ask Copilot for a small operation supported by this app, or test the relevant workflow step. There is no Test button on Connections. The task result tells you whether the stored credentials work.

At the bottomConnect
The row for an app you have not connected yet. A connected row looks the same, with Update and a bin button at the bottom.

What the row asks for depends on the app. Notion, Todoist, Facebook, eBay, Etsy, Rakuten and SoundCloud each want a single token, key or id. Discord, Slack, Microsoft Teams and WeChat Work want a webhook address, which you create inside the channel you want messages to land in. Whatever the app, the boxes on the open row are the whole list.

What a connection can and cannot do

A connection is narrow. It does not hand your account over to your copilot. Each app allows a small, named set of things, and nothing outside that set is possible, however you word the request.

The right-hand column is a real limit rather than a gap in this page. If a task comes back saying it could only search, that is the connection working as designed.

Change or remove a connection

Both start the same way: find the app and select Manage. The row opens with the same boxes you filled in the first time.

Replace a value

Enter the replacement in its field and select Update. A blank field keeps its stored value. Afterwards, try a small Copilot task or workflow step that uses the app.

Remove it altogether

Select the bin button beside Update and confirm. What was stored is deleted at once and the row goes back to Not connected. Nothing else about your account changes: your conversations, your other connections and your automations are untouched, though an automation that relied on that app will now fail when it reaches that step.

If you would rather remove everything at once, deleting your account under Settings, then My Account, takes your connections with it.

If the app you want is not on the list

The page shows every app that can be connected today: Spotify and SoundCloud; Notion, Trello and Todoist; Telegram, Discord, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Viber, Zoom, Signal and WeChat Work; Facebook and LinkedIn; and eBay, Etsy and Rakuten. If a service is not there, it cannot be connected yet, and there is no way to add one yourself.

That is worth knowing before you spend an evening looking for a setting that does not exist. Plenty of apps have no way for anything outside them to act on your behalf at all, and where that is the case your copilot will say so rather than pretend.
